The birds and the bees...

Mike and I went outside to play today, He is abnormally afraid of bugs. I always thought little boys where supposed to love bugs. To play with and torture little girls with. But not Mike, the second he sees one he wants to come inside. We had to have a discussion about bees. He seems to think that all the bees in the yard will attack him the second he steps out the door. Hard to explain to him that bees will generally leave you alone unless your doing something to them or the hive.

The tree right outside the house is flowering, so the back yard is filled with honey bees. If you stand on the deck you can hear them. I think it's cool, but hard to get Mike to stay outside with that many bees.
