Bike riding...
Yesterday Cameron and I wandered out into the garage to see if we could get the bike Jess and Liz got for Mike up and running, a bike Mike kept refering to as 'The Deathtrap'. (No, we didn't prompt him in anyway.) We filled the tires and adjusted the handle bars on it only to find out it's a little too big for Mike, maybe next year for that one.
Cameron adjusted the seat and handle bars on his old bike so he could ride it, then we took the training wheels off. We spent about half an hour yesterday making him ride to in the field by the part, back and fourth. He couldn't start out by him self and only made a few short spurts before he had to stop and try to restart. He was having a hell of a problem with steering the bike, mostly due to his inability to watch where he was going. (He is always more concerned with what other people are doing rather then what he is doing.)
After getting home from my parents house he decided he wanted to go ride his bike again, which is a good sign, normally we have to force him onto it. So, I got it out of the garage and let him get on it. After a short argument about him starting off with out any help, which he said was 'impossible'. I gave him a hand starting the first time and he took off for the park, after about 5 feet he tipped over...
We made it down far enough to cross the road by where the other sidewalk start, and then he got back on and took off with no help, and rode all the way to the park before falling over again. We spent about 45 mins out there with him riding back and fourth. He can now start and stop with no help, and go mostly in a straight line. He still needs a lot of work on the turning and the balancing, but he can make it from the end of the side walk to the park in one shot with no help. By the end of next week he should be riding like an expert.
Tomorrow I'll try to take some pictures, and if I can find the cord I might even post them.

Jen is in the kitchen making her self some vegetable stir-fry...
Yeah, you read that right. No meat, just vegetables, and just for her...
Pretty sure a pig just flew by the window too.

Internation House Of Blah...
Jen, Cameron and I headed up to the new IHOP here in Brighton. I've have previously been to a couple of IHops before, and seem to remember their food being tasty, and relatively cheap.
This one was not on par with what I remembered. While the service was good, or at least as good as one can expect from a waitress that appeared to be really new at her job. The food it's self was somewhat lacking. Jen and I both got the breakfast sampler. Which is 2 eggs, to bacon strips, 2 slices of ham, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes and hash browns.
This seems like a lot of food when spoken out this way, but it wasn't. The must have gotten the eggs from midge chickens, I have never seen eggs that small. While the sasuage links where normal sized the bacon looks like the cut 1 piece in half and called it 2, the same with the ham. The portion of hash browns we got where half the sized you'd get at any other place. And for a place that specializes in pancakes, they where about the size you would make at home, only not as thick.
As for the quality, well...
Mine and Jen's over easy eggs had snot in them, as in the white part was not cooked all the way. My bacon had uncooked portions along one of the edges, the hash browns where over cooked, and the pancakes had over moist spots in the center.
Oh, and Camerons pancakes had corn in them. Just two pieces, that must have accidentally fallen in..

So about a month ago the fired the most reliable guy in the company. The guy that would come in if his arm was falling off, and always came in when someone called in sick, even if he had to come from flint.
I just got a call from Don, the guy they replaced him with is a nocall/noshow for the second day in a row.
Great choice there.

One of those days?
It's been a busy few days at work, everybody is getting ready for the fourth. Which includes getting their cars serviced. So, we've been busy.
On top of it, I've had a cold or something for the last few days. It started with congestion, and just a general run down feeling. Today I woke up with the worse case of dieareiha ("Did you mean: diarrhea?") I've ever had.
I've been coming home from work tired, but not as bad as Jen. So I make dinner.
Today I was making hamburger helper, and when I went to open the package of noodles it ripped and spilled every last noodle on the floor. To top off we didn't have any other boxes of helper to make...
I replaced the one type of noodles with the medium shells we had in the cupboard, I hope it turns out all right.
Just one of those days.
