Today...

Today has started out to be a relatively good day. Started out early, 6:00 or so we woke up and played some M.A.S.H. Almost through season 8 now. About 6:30 Mike got up to go to the bathroom. After he was tucked back into bed I got up to make some Alfredo noodles for Jen and I. After that it was back to bed for more M.A.S.H.

About 7:30 Mike got up for good. We pulled him into bed with us for some movies. We started with "Mars Attacks" but after about 20 mins we realized that it wasn't a good kids movie, so we decided to try out Merlin. You know the T.V. mini series that came out about 10 years ago. Mike seemed to enjoy it. At least he watched the whole thing with minimal talking. Which is strange for him. All in all it went good, just one small break down when Mike almost kicked Jen in the face, then knocked a water bottle off the bed. With that all settled I'm in the living room waiting on the water to boil for Mac & Cheese. Jen and Mike are in the bedroom watching some of the DVD special features.

I think the biggest problem today was when my sister called. Some how my sister calling always seems to ruin part of the day. It's never anything good. This time she called to have me tell Cam that my brother in-law is on his way to Cam's parents to drop off the motorcycle...

That's right, apparently Cam bought my brother in-law Chris' motorcycle, and is having it sent to his parents. Now, personal opinion about Cam and a motorcycle aside, this seems like a bad idea. This is the same motorcycle uncle Tim traded to Chris for a plow. The one that had a choke that didn't work, and that as far as I know didn't run. In the two years that Chris has owned it, I've never seen it moved from the same spot in his yard. At any rate, it's gonna have to be worked on, but that's cool I guess. My big question is, why is it that when ever anybody in my family has something to do with other people I know, I always get dragged into it?

Cam's buying the bike, great, why call me? Can't you call him? Well, he didn't give me his number, I only talk to him on line. Bull shit, Cam's number hasn't changed in 5 years, I know she has it. Same with Uncle Tim. He wants his Nextel back from Terry, some how this is my problem. He calls me every day trying to get it from him. Rather then just calling Terry. I know that he had Terry's home number in his cell, I've been with him when he's called it before. Why do they have to drag me into it?

Guess my parents and sister are having a BBQ today. She told me we could come if we wanted to. Surprising that no one bother to give us notice. But then my family never does. Not that I expect them to.

Mike's out here now, complaining because I can't make Mac & Cheese instantly, that is has to be cooked. He's been complaining a lot lately.
