Birthday Weekend

Well, it's Monday, which marks the end of my Birthday weekend. All in all it's been a good birthday. Better then most by far. Saturday started out good, woke up rather early, played some games with Mike and Mom. After a late lunch, in which Mike ate 20 pizza rolls, we took the boy to Grandma and Grandpa's. From there we headed straight to MJR to watch X-men III. While I don't think it was a good as the first two it was still a really good movie. So good in fact that Jen and I went and saw it again Sunday morning. After the movie Jen, Cam, and I went to Outback for dinner. I got a 14oz sirlion stake, mashed potatoes, salad, bread, and some cheese fries. After dinner we headed home for some 'quality time' before sleep.

Sunday we woke up late, about 12:30 I think. Sense we missed 'the code' we decided to head to X-men again. I think it was better a second time around. We headed over to Jen's parents for a birthday dinner. Enchiladas! They where yummy, in fact I finished them off for lunch today. Mom and Dad Davey got me Kingdom Hearts II, which I spent the better part of 5 hours playing this morning. Jen is currently playing it, as she missed the first two hours and is trying to catch up on the story line. Jess and Liz got my gift certificates for Outback, so maybe I can drag the wife there some time this week, or week end. Liz made me brownies for a birthday cake. They where yummy too. Gonna dig into some in a few mins. After that we went to my parents for about an hour. We had some cake and got a card. They gave me money which is the norm for them. After that it was home, Mike went to bed and we played some magic. At about midnight we went to bed, Jen fell asleep right off, but she needed it.

Today was fun, Mike got up at 8:30, I started playing Kingdom Hearts. At about 11 Jen woke up. We didn't really do anything else until 3:00. Then we went to the Nature Center to walk around, then to Kroger and home. I made burgers and corn on the cob. I ate too much.

Don't know if you read this or not, but if you do, Thanks for the gift certificates Craig!

We are calling it 'quality time' anywhere your parents can hear or read. After all, you probably don't want them post comments about thier 'quality time' on your blog...
