Iron Man

Jen, Cameron, Mike and I went to the 5:00 showing of Iron Man. I have to say that it was a lot better then I was expecting it to be, which is saying a lot because I expected it to be fantastic!

I'm kind of pick in that I like my far out, totally impossible science fiction to be realistic. Yeah the Iron Man suit is impossible, but it seems less impossible with it takes damage. I don't care what you make the suit out of, if it gets hit by tank fire while flying at mach 1 it's gonna get a dent in it.

Besides that, watching the mistakes that are made while he is perfecting the suit make it seem real too. After all, genius or not, people make mistakes. Nothing comes out perfect the first time.

Robert Downey Jr. made a great Tony Stark, he had all the ego and eccentricity I would expect. He portrayed the change that came over him well.

It's a must see for anybody, and if you go, make sure you stay through the credits. It's worth it. There are some people who's voice just stand out, even in a dark room with their back to you. You know who they are, their voice just carries that kind of power.
