Looking like a ghost town...
Mike and I had an outing today, trying to get some errands run, which was hard concidering that Brighton was powerless. We went to the Secretary of State and got the plates renewed on the jeep. Then we went to PetSmart, we had some questions about the rats but they where not answering their phone. That's when the weirdness started.
Now, I have to back up, and tell it start from the beginning. I got Mike up for school this morning, got him read and took him out to the bus stop. Only to have the bus driver tell us Hilton was closed due to lack of power.
Now, back to the story. PetSmart was close due to lack of power. So that was a dud, but I told Mike we could get some McDonalds so we headed that way. It too was out of power. Not to be dissuaded I headed over to the one on Lee Rd. We spent 45 mins in the drive through.
We just got home from the Library, Mike's books where due and we figured we would take them back and get some more...
It too was closed due to lack of power, what's more, the book drop of was so full that books where spilling out.

you shoulda seen Pontiac today. Looked like a tornado came through. Uprooted trees, half the traffic lights were out. A real mess. Didn't seem that bad on our street did it?
No, our side of town seemed okay. The power was out at VGs though, oddly enough Kroger right next door had power.
