Back in the Mac again...

I few days ago Mike tripped over the power cord for my Mac and pulled it off the table and out of my computer. I didn't think much of it, He put the Mac back on the table and that was that.

The next day when I went to plug my Mac in I noticed that the cord tip was bent. I straightened it out and plugged it in. All seemed well. My battery was at 56%, and the light was orange, that was normal. I set my computer up to download some stuff and set it aside for bed.

The next day after work I noticed that it wasn't on, but we where on our way out the door so I didn't touch it. (We where going to Cam's to rock out some Wii Bowling.) Later that night I had to come home to reset the router because Cam's stolen internet wasn't working. I tried to turn it on to test the net and it didn't work...

After running though a few things I deduced that the power cord was broken. But to be sure I took it up to the Mac Store. They have the Genius Bar, which is like a in store Tech Support only FREE. They guy took the computer, plugged in his cord, wiggled it a bit then said it was indeed the cord. Which was a good thing. The cord is less then $90.00, if the inside of the Mac was messed up it would have been $12.95 for the part and $189.95 in labor.

So, my Mac is back again. It works okay.
