Burned!!

By now you all know I got burned at work. Hi Bonnie! I opened a radiator cap at work to check the coolant level. That’s a common thing at work. We do it all the time, with the car warm, cold, or hot.

Problem here is that this car had a stuck thermostat and was over heating. No one felt the need to warn me of this.  I cracked the cap open to release the pressure and instead of venting it exploded. I got caught in a geyser of hot anti-freeze.  Luckily I dodged off to the side, so while my arm took the brunt of the damage a little splashed onto my face. (You can’t see any damage under the beard.)
